The dish, entering the kiln as fire, becomes both soft and hard. Within its roughness lies a delicate intricacy, containing the enduring vitality of simplicity, quietly and powerfully perceiving the mood of life within the temperature. Originating from the yearning for a beautiful life, inspired by the construction of a modern apartment, LINFORNI GALLERY collaborates with contemporary Japanese dish artists Kaori Maeda, Ryutaro Yamada, Koichi Onozawa, and Shun Ono, to exhibit jointly in a space filled with modernist architecture, taking a journey of heart through experiencing dishes and dwelling.

Deep in the Japanese countryside, The team visits the workshops of contemporary ceramic artists, moved and grateful for their artisanship. Combining the natural world, ancient wisdom, and modern techniques, they reinterpret the classics. The special language between clay, glass, and flame, along with a deep affection for understanding objects, reflects a return to and reflection on true aesthetics. With minimal intervention, preserving innate purity, traditional craftsmanship seamlessly integrates with nature, and the spirit of the artisans is etched into the mountains, rivers, lakes, and seas.
