The Beautiful Room is Empty (2026)
The second chapter of the exhibition programme, Andrea Faraguna invited Cuban-American artist and curator David Lê to develop The Beautiful Room is Empty.
Inspired by the correspondence between Franz Kafka and Milena Jesenská, the exhibition introduced a curved wooden structure imagined as a room in continual transformation.
At its centre sits Sichuan chilli red—a signature colour within YEARLY PLAN’S visual language—grounding the space while allowing artworks and natural materials to enter into dialogue with the architecture.
Visitors encounter artwork and objects unexpectedly, reflecting our continuing interest in creating a space where material, body, thought, and environment intersect.
