What drew you to present your work at YEARLY PLAN HOUSE?

I was immediately struck by the resonance between my sculptures and the architecture, its clarity, material warmth, and proportion.

Why “Ten Clouds”?
JA
The exhibition consists of ten sculptures—each a kind of shifting form.
Five are cast concrete: heavy in material, but light in form. The others are welded steel and ceramic, arranged like architectural models.

How do you see your practice in relation to clothing and architecture?
JA
I studied fashion before art. I see garment construction and architecture as parallel processes, turning two-dimensional forms into spatial structures around the body.
